Life goes on

It has been over 2 weeks now since my last post here. Unfortunately, we all eventually came down with the flu. This one is a killer, and it's making the rounds. Nearly everyone I know has had it in their family. So not fun.

On a different note, I began a new post last Friday, but haven't decided whether or not to publish it. It's not pretty, but it's real. Maybe I will have a final draft today. Part of our lesson in R.S. on Sunday was about how we look at other people and think that their life is perfect and that they have no problems. How sometimes we put on a facade that we are perfect, we have it all together. I don't feel like I sugar-coat my life. I feel like sometimes I am so open about the "realness" in life that it may come across that I am a "Debbie Downer". I guess it's all about finding a happy medium and for me focusing on the positive. I feel like I'm rambling now, but it was a great reminder for me about how a lot of my "issues" are holding me back.

Anyway, look for that new post soon.

Before I leave I'll share a picture, just because!

I was checking out family and friends blogs to see if they posted recently. You are so NOT a debbie downer. You're so sweet and talented. Let's face it though, life can be a headache at times, but like you said, more positive than the negative. Sometimes though, the negative is so funny! Gotta "keep it real," to quote Randy Jackson. Can't wait for the next post!

I must say, those Lemons made your house smell really good. I think it worked as good as a candle.
